Bella Noella

In October, our friends Felicia and her daughter Alahna told us their dog Penny was going to have puppies! Her dogs Penny and Electro are Vizslas (pronounced vee-shlah) which are Hungarian pointers. They're really beautiful and personable dogs. Felicia offered us the pick of the litter and we couldn't resist. We thought it over and over and over and finally decided to go for it. The puppies were born the 2nd week in December and when they were 1 day old the girls picked out the smallest female of the litter. Below are pictures of one of our visits at Felicia's house. We were lucky to get to see the puppies the day after they were born and pretty much every week after that. In these pictures the puppies are about 2 1/2 weeks old and had just started to open their eyes that day. Sydnee wanted to name the puppy Noella and Skylar wanted to name her Belle - so her official registered name is "Bella Noella Griffin" but we call her "Ellie".
