August 14, 2006: The First Day of School... BOOO!
The first day of school came way to fast for all of us! The girls were excited to meet their new teachers and friends. Sydnee is now in the 4th grade and has Mrs. Throp and Skylar is in the 1st grade and has Ms. Lockey. They both love their teachers. The school year is going great and they both have met some new friends. I can't believe they are growing up so fast!!
Summer 2006
The Summer came and went so fast! We had a great time hanging out with friends and swimming in the new pool. In June, Melissa came to visit us for a few days. We were all so excited to see her! We showed her the sights around town and ate out at some fun restaurants. Shortly after Melissa's visit, Morgan came to visit us for a few days. We really missed her and enjoyed spending time with her before she moved to Tyler, TX. We miss her still and hope she is doing well with her family. The rest of the summer was spent hanging out with all of our friends - taking day trips and LOTS of swimming.... we are patiently waiting for Summer 2007!!
April 24, 2006: Kinder Circus!
Skylar and the Kindergarten classes of LTE held the annual "Kinder Circus". Much time and preparation goes in to the making of the Circus! Each child gets to choose what they want to be or do in the Circus. Skylar decided she wanted to be a Leopard Cat, along with her friend Morgan and another girl. Circus Day was so much fun at LTE!
